This page came alive again after several years of quiet. In part, it is a way for me to stay connected to my friends and family and in a personal way it reminds me of a dear friend that I lost.
You will hear of her often, Margery. My best friend and without a doubt, a big reason I had the courage to make this huge transition. Being the youngest of a Hispanic family, the pressure was big to stay close to home but I am in the lucky situation of having had Marg in my life and also quite convinced that my partner is more than worth learning German for.
So here I am, sitting on our balcony in Linz, making an attempt to record the many lively experiences I’ve come across since re-locating. I’m not sure who will read this, likely my family, or perhaps a friend, either way I hope you enjoy keeping up with the shenanigans Austria brings.
